- Renowned artist Andreas Gursky participates in Al-Ma'mal's Artist in Residence Program and gives artist talk.
- March Meeting - in cooperation with Sharjah Biennial, 2009.
May/Jun 2009:
- Contemporary Art Museum - Palestine (CAMP) debuts with its first exhibition in Linz, Austria, as part of Linz 2009 European Capital of Culture.
- Visiting artist Maider Lopez
- Tarek Al-Ghoussein exhibition
- 'Sights and Sounds of my City' - youth art workshop in cooperation with local institutions.
July-November 2009: 'Masarat in Palestine' - a Palestinian art season/festival moves from Bruxelles to Palestine with an exhibition at Al-Ma'mal.
October 11-20, 2009: The Jerusalem Show, edition 0.2, 2009 - 'The Jerusalem Syndrome'. 30 international & Palestinian artists exhibit throughout the Old City of Jerusalem.
