The Presentations and Creative Encounters program at Al-Ma’mal is comprised of film-screenings, artist talks/meetings and presentations, and conferences/seminars on particular themes. The creative encounters are initiated for the purpose of nurturing individual creativity while encouraging cultural awareness of contemporary art practices, fostering individual imagination and creative production alike. In order to show our appreciation of contemporary visual art from all corners of the world, we provide both local and international artists with the vital opportunity for creative exchange, which not only serves to strengthen creative ties among artists alone, but also generates public awareness and understanding of the creative process, while bringing forth themes relevant for discussion and interpretation. This program runs on a monthly basis and in cooperation with other art /cultural centers from Ramallah and Bethlehem. In the past, our cooperative partners have been Khalil Sakakini Cultural center, Popular Art Center in Ramallah, The International Center of Bethlehem (Dar-Annadwa) in Bethlehem to name a few.
