Internship Opportunities

Al Ma'mal interns have the opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge gained during their studies to work in an exciting, vibrant, and professional environment based in the beautifully renovated tile factory in the Old City of Jerusalem. Internships last a minimum of three months. 

Candidates should demonstrate: 
- Excellent organization and management skills
- Knowledge of the art and cultural scene in Jerusalem, Palestine
- Completed or undergoing a BA in Fine Arts, Communications, Marketing, Humanities, or relevant creative field
- Fluency in English and/or Arabic (preferably both!)
- Comfortable working with a small team
- Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe programs (Photoshop, Indesign)

1. Media and Communications Intern: Al Ma'mal seeks a Communications Intern to help execute press, media and event initatives. Primary responsibilities include: 
-Conducting research for media lists and press pitches
-Compiling materials for press releases
-Monitoring Al Ma'mal mentions and other relevant news
-Managing mailing lists and e-newsletters
-Updating website content
-Operating our social media channels
-Assisting with event coordination

2. Programs Intern: Al Ma'mal seeks a Programs Intern to assist in coordinating our public programs and assist our artists. Primary responsibilities include: 
-Assisting Al Ma'mal's staff with organizing and coordinating the public programs: exhibitions, film screenings, and educational workshops
-Providing on-site supervision for events and activities
-Preparing program information in a timely manner
-Reviewing and editing supporting documents 
-Developing partnerships with local community centers
-Manage event services and technical support
-Compiling materials for project reports
